At On Call Veterinary Services, we offer routine wellness care with a focus on preventative medicine for both large and small animals in Central Texas. We believe that the best way to reduce the development of serious illnesses in our pets and to minimize related health care costs, is to provide regular wellness checkups, and preventative care.
The key to keeping your animals healthy is making sure that they have an annual health examination. We assess each of our patients individually based on factors such as species, breed, age, and physical environment, and will offer recommendations for prevention, nutrition, and appropriate diagnostic work-ups. Our annual visit typically includes a comprehensive physical exam, testing for internal parasites, heartworm and flea control, vaccination programs, and specialized blood tests appropriate for each life stage. We also provide microchipping to better ensure that you and your pet will be reunited if you are separated.
At On Call Veterinary Services, we strive to prevent illness whenever possible, and we find that the time and effort invested in wellness care has rewards for both pets and owners. A healthy pet is a happy pet.
